Andrew and Sabine decided to sell their home privately when they found out how much commission they would be paying an agent. "We were horrified by the rates the agents charge!"

They began researching different "for sale by owner" companies. "We felt that the other companies were less comprehensive than Comfree… and we really liked the magazine advertising," Sabine says.

The Blackburns' sign went up on a Thursday and they began booking appointments immediately. On Sunday a prospective buyer came back for a second viewing and on Monday she brought the offer in writing. Andrew and Sabine decided to counter-offer, which the buyer accepted, giving them over 98% of their asking price and saving them over $8000 in real estate commissions. Andrew says, "We were amazed at how painless the whole process was! We'll definitely sell privately with Comfree again!"
